We have been working on goals and planning and timelines, now, lets spread the word- No, really. Type up your goals and spread them around your home. Hang a list in your locker, on your desk, even as a banner on your computer. Spread it around like glitter! That stuff get’s everywhere and you can never seem to get rid of it. Look at your goals. Read your plans. Do it daily. Revise as needed.

By making your goals visible it sets your intention to yourself and the world around you. Spend time every day reviewing your list. Check and recheck your goals. Mark off the things you have done but don’t remove them from the list. Seeing what you have accomplished will motivate you to keep going. Modify and revise as needed. As you grow your needs and skills will change- keep track.

- Knowing the hurdles and how high they are will prepare you for them when you get there. Normally, this is something within you. What do you have to do to get out of your own way?
- Me?- it is, was, and will always be…MATH! So, when it came time to tackle my monster I planned ahead and cleared my schedule of anything else that was time-consuming. Math was going to be consuming enough. I did my best. I focused on what needed to get done and I passed. No, not with an A, but I did pass.
- What skills do you need to complete your goals? What one skill do you need to master to be successful?
How do you learn this magical skill? Now that you know- do it every single day.
- Find your cheerleading squad.
- Sorry, but you can’t do it all alone. It is okay to ask for help and support.

- When you check something off your list- enjoy it. Offer yourself a prize for each goal met. Maybe a night out with someone or many from your
cheer squad.

- Keep moving- take action every day. Your moves don’t have to be massive. Slow and steady wins the race. The goal is to keep moving forward.
- Plan- everything.
- Break your bigger goals down into smaller steps- figure out how you will spend your time. The more detailed your outline the more you will accomplish in a shorter amount of time.
- Plan out the next 12 months- month by month. For each month list 2-3 things that you must complete to get to the next step in your plan.

Ask yourself- If I could do only one thing in January, what one activity would add the most value to my goals?
Now- do that for every month. Look! You have a plan!
