Unsung Valor

Unsung Valor

Through countless centuries and years gone by

I see but one warrior with strength in their eye.

The ever unknown follows them each and every day.

Yet these few brave souls refuse to fall away.

They survived through untold bloody wars and pain.

Nevertheless…those few brave warriors vigilantly remain.

No medals are awarded for their valor or might

Yet they give us the will to stand and fight.

Through countless centuries and years gone by

I see but one warrior with true strength in their eye.

The soldiers that fought for the once mighty Rome

Could never have matched the valor of the one’s left at home.

I am...interesting. I am a writer, dreamer, mom, wife, veteran, friend, villain, and the wearer of many hats, but I don't look good in hats- go figure. I LOVE TO WRITE. I want to tell stories. I want to make you laugh, cry, and scare the crap out of you, and make you ask "why the hell did you do that?" I want to make you cheer my characters on or want to shake the crap out of them for things they say and/or do. I want to bring you along for the ride. Ready? Set?...READ!!!
