** Just so you know, I think I will skip Chapter 6 because it is solely based on B2B campaigns. Let me know ASAP if you want me to cover it. I figured if you are in a structured business already you would know how this works. Once we finish the deep-discount section we will move on to our next book…which you need to select from the list at the bottom of this post. I will let you know the votes so far. **
Deep-Discount Offers
How do you acquire buyers? Well, we know from the last few posts how to find prospects and leads, but how do you turn them into someone who will click BUY? Simple. Make them an offer they cannot pass up. In these cases, it should be a QUALITY free item where the customer only pays for the shipping. With that you get their contact information when they fill out the purchase order. Once that purchase proves to be successful (you followed through on your promise) then you have a customer who will buy from you again. Maybe even a raving fan.
I want raving fans. Will you be my fan? It is kinda warm in here. Just stand over there in the corner and wave this palm branch at me. There…no…to the right, just a bit. No, your other right. There. Perfect. Slow, even waves. No, not torrential winds. Geesh. How hard can this be? Never mind. Just go fill your cuppa and dig around your fridge for a nibble, then take a seat on the reading rug. Please keep social distancing in mind when selecting a spot.
Yes, the rug is big enough for everyone. I need to read ahead a bit in Digital Marketing All-in-One for Dummies, A Wiley Brand, so hang on a minute.
Okay, it looks like we are going to look at a few ways to implement this deep discount offer properly. Ready? Well, to bad, we will just start without you. You can catch up on what you missed when you settle down. Homeschooling, who knew it was so…wonderful to have our babies at home with us.
Using Physical Premiums: Offer a physical product at an extreme discount. This must be a premium, high-quality item for it to work in your favor.
Employing a Book: Book? Did they say book? Where do I sign up? Books are a highly effective way to turn prospects and leads into customers. The objective is a deeply discounted offer on something of value and books have great value whether physical or ebook.
Leveraging the Webinar: This is a versatile offer made available to digital marketers. You can use this to generate leads and as a free product. Remember, if you are charging anything for this webinar it must be beyond in value. FYI- maybe call them teleclasses instead of webinars. Online training, or even boot camps sound new and innovative.
Selling Software: Quality software saves people time with applications and plugins. Less time workin’ and more time filling your cuppas. I’m in! Offering a free 14-day trial can boost your sales. Once we see how it works and benefits us, we will gladly fill out your order form.
Splintering a Service: If you have created a high-dollar product or service, your free offer or deeply discounted offer, can be a small piece of the service that can stand on its own. Because you are offering a ‘splinter’ of the product, you do not have to create something new to sell. You would simply sell the remainder of the product or service.
Brainstorming “Little Victories” to Offer Your Leads: Free, deep-discount, and low price are words your prospects will flock to. There is very low risk in purchasing something at a minimal cost. The goal it to get them to take a chance on you and what you are offering. BUT…you must have faith in your product. This ‘victory’ you are offering is to bring them in and look around at other items you have in your catalog. If what you are offering isn’t a strong enough product- no one will look, and no one will buy.
YEAH! One post closer to the end of this chapter and then on to something new. Take a look at the list below and let me know what you are interested in.
