Let’s play a game.

I was playing around on Pinterest trying to find cool things to not do but wish I did when I came across a list of questions to ask someone you are trying to get to know. Now, there are around 200 that range from casual to ‘you better marry me after this’ type of questions. What do you say? Wanna ask/answer some questions?

Sooo…as a way to get to know one another, I’m going to post a question or two. I will answer and then you have the opportunity to share your response in the comments section. Keep it interesting- clean is optional, but be it must be real. Okay~

COOL!

Q mark

Casual questions to get to know someone.

  1. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

Hmmm, as long as lack of sleep wasn’t a detriment to my health- cool- I would read and write more. If everyone else could sleep, but me that is what I would do. I wouldn’t feel guilty that I am ignoring people by reading for hours at a time. I could do it while they slept and we could both be happy. Writing is also time-consuming and I try to not take time away from people I care about when I do it. This way no one would suffer. I would get to pour out all the words trapped in my fingers and the Hubs would get the entire bed to himself.  All would be right with the world- or my little slice of it.

Keep in mind that I am not a great scholar or world-renowned scientist. If I were I would work on the cure for cancer and such. Or a great humanitarian, I would hope to cure world stupidity (greed, entitlement, GREED, war, and all the other uglies of the world). But, alas, I am just a wrangler of words and all  I have to offer are stories to entertain you.

That was fun. Oooo…let’s try another question.

2. What’s your favorite piece of clothing you own/owned?

Clothes…meh…I’m not much of a clothes hound but I do have one item that is still active in my wardrobe after 33 years. I have had to steal it back from both of my daughters on multiple occasions and scrape God only knows what off of it many times, but I still wear it. Yup- you read that right, 33 years and I still wear it. It is my high school track hoodie that I saved up for and bought myself when I was a wee child of 15. AND, it still fits. It helps that when I was a tight and tiny size 6 I opted for a large sweatshirt- so technically, a shirt I had in high school still fits.  Ha!!

What do you say? Wanna play? If so, just answer the questions listed above and tomorrow we will journey on to another question. This way I get to know you and you get to peek behind that coffee stained, pet hair covered, last seasons curtain into my wacky world.

***Like me, share me, tell your friends and family all about me! I’m awesome and fun and historically kooky. Leave suggestions, comments, and ideas in the comment section and I may tag you in a future blog post.***

I am...interesting. I am a writer, dreamer, mom, wife, veteran, friend, villain, and the wearer of many hats, but I don't look good in hats- go figure. I LOVE TO WRITE. I want to tell stories. I want to make you laugh, cry, and scare the crap out of you, and make you ask "why the hell did you do that?" I want to make you cheer my characters on or want to shake the crap out of them for things they say and/or do. I want to bring you along for the ride. Ready? Set?...READ!!!
