In My Head

Some journeys are simple. Some take you through twisted roads and out of the way paths. Choosing your direction can be difficult when you forget that you have the ability to turn around and take a different path…

here’s to turning around.

In My Head

You are the voice inside my yell.

An innocent angel trapped in Hell.

My inner demon stole my face.

Your reaction showed no trace.

A puddle of nothing on the floor.

The echoing of a silent roar.

Shattered glass found nothing there.

Whispered screams at no one here.

Make up covering bursts of rage.

A kitten in a tiger’s cage.

Emotional thirst that must be fed.

All this trapped inside my head.

I am...interesting. I am a writer, dreamer, mom, wife, veteran, friend, villain, and the wearer of many hats, but I don't look good in hats- go figure. I LOVE TO WRITE. I want to tell stories. I want to make you laugh, cry, and scare the crap out of you, and make you ask "why the hell did you do that?" I want to make you cheer my characters on or want to shake the crap out of them for things they say and/or do. I want to bring you along for the ride. Ready? Set?...READ!!!
