Asleep

in bed when the clock strikes twelve,

when all things roam and dwell.

This is the moment

when time stands still,

when all your wildest dreams fulfilled.

This time in which your dolls dance and sing

and you asleep don’t hear a thing.

A time where mystical beasts exist

and all the fairies take to wing

and you asleep don’t see a thing.

But…

at early dawn, when all is done

and life is as it seems,

you awaken and continue

to dream those fabulous dreams.
